Hunters: Don’t forget your bear spray

It’s hunting season, and thousands of gun-wielding men and women are creeping stealthily through bear habitat looking for game. This is a recipe for a bad bear encounter, and the key to safety is bear spray.

Bear spray has been shown to be much more effective at fending off a charging bear than firearms. Please carry bear spray and know how to use it. It could be the difference between a good story and a serious injury.
